The consultants at LMHE are passionate, motivated, and experienced in their field to provide clients with the skills, tools, and resources to become successful.
Chima Onwuka
With a background in clinical mental health counseling, Chima has almost a decade of experience. Chima started his professional journey working with psychiatric patients that struggled with depression, suicide, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety and many other challenges. He then started working with adolescents that struggled with problem sexual behaviors such as rape, insets, pornography addiction, excessive masturbation, etc.. Chima later worked in outpatient therapy where he continued to do mental health counseling as well as couples counseling, career counseling, family conflict, school concerns, self esteem, and others. While consulting, he works as the Social and Emotional Counselor for teen boys at an Independent School. He also realizes he cannot impact everyone in a counselor's office, so he would often do motivational speeches on "A Changed Mind leads to a Changed Life" and "Passion Drives Purpose"
Monica Onwuka
Monica Onwuka is a higher education professional with over eight years of experience in the field. She received her bachelors of arts degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her masters of science in higher education administration from the same institution. Her career in higher education has included work in student affairs, undergraduate admissions recruiting, pre-collegiate programming, campus tours, community engagement, and academic coaching. Her wealth of knowledge about the college admissions process, essay and resume writing, and financial aid and scholarship awards and selective program admissions make her an ideal resource for those transitioning into both undergraduate and graduate studies.
